I believe it’s a plug in for CS6 - or at least it was when I had it. Nowadays PS CC comes with it. It’s a powerful editing tool that’s a bit of a watered down version of lightroom I believe.

What I do is, I select the main subject and make it a new layer and place it on top of everything else, so the content aware tool doesnt mess with the edges
