When that happens, check your %TEMP% folder. There should be a folder with these files and you can run the InsydeFlash from there (don't forget to update the platform file on that location). ( Still... after doing that, my Acer still asks for password :/ but I hope this helps somebody else. )

#Balkan I think you have set the password on boot. Means when you boot into OS it asks for password. Is it true?? If yes then you have to do same steps above using your friends laptop/pc and then copy those files into your pendrive. Then plug it into your laptop and press Win+B. Hope this will fix. :) You can also enter 06672114 as password.

Found out that the last version that this can work is 1.18, Compared BIOS versions and Versions above 1.18 will not prompt ROM not located in the Folder. Need to Flash the older version . havent tried it yet. I will do it later and update in here. thanks for the tutorial. this leads me to a better solution. already tried all the methods like Jumper, Battery removal as the password maybe located in the EPROM, Using applicaitons PC Clean Boot, CLNPWD and this wont work since they are only applicable to certain models and ACER CLNPWD is for older models. wish me luch when i tried it later.

Hi when you press the button to turn on the pc, keep pressing repeatedly the delete key or f2 then when you ask for the password simply press the enter key and go to discard changes press yes and the windows will start but when you restart it will ask for password again.
