How To Remove Charger R/T Spoiler & Install Hellcat Spoiler Part 1

Ryan thank you for the videos they definitely helped me out a lot when I removed my old spoiler off my 2018 Dodge Charger RT and put on a Hellcat spoiler. The process was a very long and painful one but like you said it was worth it because the spoiler looks awesome on it, my car is a plum crazy purple charger so I added a matte black spoiler to go with a matte black scat pack hood, thanks again my man

FLA HEMI I'm here if you got any questions for the install. I would probably spray some degreaser goo gone around the spoiler and let soak for an hour or so before you plan to start the removal to give it some time to work.

My question is does the trunk Inner liner can be removed with those two pans that you were talking about because I thought it was bonded to the outside part of the trunk and that you can take it off

Hey Rydin i watched your video about install the rear spoiler, i both my last year and i haven't make the time because all this giggles that dodge do like those ridiculous 4 holes. is that really necessary!! I just dress my self wih patience and do like u do take my time, my problem is i don't have garage so i have to do everything right in the street, anyway i will checking your video for when i have time fgor the installation. ORLANDO FLORES I could've probably done it all on one day, but I started late in the afternoon and I could only dedicate a couple hours here and there. If you have a full day, it should be good. The adhesive removal takes the longest. I'm here if you have any questions.

I didn’t know there were holes on either side of the trunk. I want the hellcat spoiler but I also don’t want holes on the left and right sides. What should I do to cover those up? Or is there just no way to do that?

For the two bolts in the middle of the truck, how did you remove them ?

I used a ratchet if I'm thinking of the correct one in the middle on the trunk on the inside

You either misspoke or you used the wrong size torx bit(star bit/screw) on the brackets on both sides of thunk. It is a T25 not a T20. The T20 will stop take it off but you also take the chance of stopping out the screw.

They can, you'll just need to replace the 3 (6) plastic clips holding it down

Which spoiler did you buy? Some say you need to drill holes and others say it is not necessary. I will buy whatever you've got.

I would make sure the spoiler you buy uses the factory holes. The one I got didnt and I needed to drill 2 new holes

Rojelio Pahua there's 2 different type of plugs, the flat ones and the locking ones. I got the locking ones from home depot and the flat ones from ebay.
