I just did it on an Acer Chrome Book 11 and it's doing all of the updates now once you are the network administratior you can update the password to your liking

This is interesting but doesn’t exactly answer my question. I want what’s in it to stay there, I just don’t have a password, don’t want to log on with my account after willing everything clean. Get what ppl are confused about or more like upset about. Thanks anyway. I now know how to wipe out all the info of someone I know and use their computer with my own log google account. Hey boss i have a Acer chromebook 315 2. What do you do if you are not alowed to add another user from that screen? I have a friend who works for a garbage/trash out company and i bought a laptop from him. It has basically the same deal as yours. Two user accounts set with google password. The option to add another user is dimmer than the rest of the words on the screen and does nothing when you click on it. Is there a back rout B available??? If it's a chromebook, aren't you just logging into your google account? Why don't you just retrieve the password via google and either figure out what the security questions are or reset the password with phone or other email linked accounts? Otherwise, you're out of luck. The only way to get around logging in without knowing the password is a factory reset

What a scam video, this video doe not show you how to bypass the password but how to power wash your Chrimebook. So what happens is you lose everything and still have to enter a password everytime you boot the device.
