=LEN(text)

Step 2: Setting Up Your Data
You have a list of numbers in column A, from cell A2 to A20. For instance:

To remove the first digit from the numbers in column A and place the results in column B, follow these steps:
1. Click on cell B2 to make it the active cell, where you will enter your formula.
2. Write the following formula in cell B2:
=RIGHT(A2, LEN(A2) - 1)
