those have noise cancelation mics right? I did an install for a friend, same thing your stating and now during turn on, before the radio turns on, theres some low humming. I haven't had a chance to look at it agian, but im hoping thats it, any insight?

After removing the door panel, I re-attached the door lock and door handle connections, but the door doesn't lock. If you lock the door while its shut and open the door handle, the door simply opens. Is there an easy way to fix this? Both connections are made properly and the door is secured. Im assuming something isn't in sync - causing the issue. Thanks much.

I saw in another video that you should pop out the door handle clips instead of removing the wires. Were you ever able to get that issue figured out?

I have a question for you guys, I have a 1994 Ford Ranger supercab pickup that i have a JVC KD-r730BT head unit, 2 sets of Polk Audio dxi 571, a Rockford Fosgate R250x1 powering a Rockford Fosgate P2D4-8 in an Ground shaker sealed enclosure. I need an opinion on what 4 channel amp to run my coax's ?

My door panel creaks when I push it in, I took it in to service twice and they said "it's within specs" - LOL, that's dealers for you. Anyway, thank you for this video, I'll take my panel off and put some sponges or something inside to tighten it up.

thanks for the door removal video. My issue is getting the signal from the factory speaker terminal to my amp. I am trying to replace front door speakers. Trying to pass leads into doors from Amp and signal from door speaker source to amp. Also there seems to be no place to mount crossovers in door so I would like to post them under dash and feed amplified signal to tweeter and mid range in doors thru the door grommet boots. But how to get into boot under the dash ? I see there are two populated terminal blocks but is there a way to feed down the boot or are these set to terminal blocks only ?

If you have two dual 1 ohm subs can you wire it 1 or 2 ohm? Instead of just. 5?

can you put to much power from a stock deck into a speaker (no amp, just deck to speaker-power) and is it the same for a sub with a over sized amp, say a 1000w amp to a 700w sub

It's always better to overpower than underpower a speaker. You can do 1000W on a 700W sub but depending on the sub, it could be too much.
