Hi. This is a great video. Has helped me switch the cigar lighter fuse to the other position and it works exactly as you say. I have a question. I removed that device to put an usb socket wich has a bluetooth receiver plugged in. That receiver goes to the glove compartment's 3,5mm audio socket. The thing is when that audio cable is connected, it powers the USB socket!. Also you can hear aan electrical noise over the car speakers when using the aux source this way. Any hint on how to fix this? Thank you so much.

Since the snow we had a couple of weeks ago in the UK, my Mondeo Mk4 has a drain on the battery (Have to jump start it everyday). The safe lights seem to stay on longer than they should, as a neighbour knocked to tell me my lights when on after I had locked the car in the evening. If anyone knows where the fuse is for the safe lights please let me know.

Hi thank you for the fuse names.My car is not starting, and F27 fuse is oke, and Relais K4 the fuel pump I changed is with K33 because there are four the same Relais and that was not helping.So I think the fuell pump is down. ???Because battery is oke.starter is new.gas/benzine is oke.I think there is no Relais or fuse for the fuell pump in the Main box??? (glove box)

There is a malfunction on my mk3 mondeo that has been bothering me for a while. The interior lights suddenly broke down. I changed the small fuse (number 99) in the fuse box but it didn't work. the lamps are not broken. The fuse box is not broken. elecrick flow seems normal. No mechanic could fix it. if anyone knows the answer please help :(((

I have a 2001.03 mondeo and it just screws off. Done it myself a few times. It needs force though, very fine threaded.

Hi mate I have a mondeo mk3 like in your video , my radio isn't switching on , the battery has been flat for a while , I charged the battery now radio not switching on , it is a sony radio , checked fuses they seem to be OK ,can you help me thanks John

A Sony OEM Ford headunit? I don't know sorry, I never had one. To test power supply as opposed to the unit, you'd have to unplug it, get the plug wiring info, and start up the multimeter.

disconnect posts on - and + run a wire between the two disconnected terminal wires making sure they do not touch the battery. Turn everything on that you can think of. Headlights on high beam a/c etc. Leave for ten to 20 mins turn everything off remove wire reconnect battery and should work again. This resets the battery good luck.
