CANT THANK YOU ENOUGH!!! I just used olive oil I had already and my husbands needle nose pliers and took 50 of Them out, feels sooooo good to be free of them!!! 🙌 the salon wanted to charge me $150, you saved my sanity and my money! 😅😘

I removed mine without pulling out or damaging my hair simply with pliers and no chemicals, it just takes a bit longer to squash the bond until it breaks down...

Omg thank you so much!! I'm stuck with these extensions in my hair. Our state in Australia was in the longest lock down foe 9 months with hairdressers closed. And since there's only 2 hairdressers in my state who do keratin hair extensions. 1 is ignoring me and the other is fully booked then going away on holiday 😭 my hair has started to become matted at the roots. I appreciate this video so much! I just ordered the glue removal and proper pliers 🙌🏽

I got d bond remover. It isn't working. Anyone have advice? My work schedule has been crazy and I don't have time for salon. My hair has matted in the back 😭. My extensions are waaay overdue to come out. It's been 7 months 😢.
@caseyelizabeth19302 ай бұрын
@@emilyrose7943 anything with alcohol like nail polish remover or oil should work as well - you just need something that will break down the keratin bond - lmk if you found something that worked!

@@caseyelizabeth1930 I tried castor oil and coconut oil. Neither worked. I guess I will have to get something with acetone in it. I tried the hair pliers and needle nose pliers to really crush them one came out. These things are SOLID

Hi this was helpful. Question. I took 3 of mine out without a problem but I have these tiny pieces of glue leftover on each piece of hair. Any suggestions on how to get them out? They are pretty stuck on there and the keratin remover doesn’t want to work to those small glue pieces!!
@caseyelizabeth1930 Жыл бұрын
Hii I am so happy it was helpful 🥰 I usually put olive oil or coconut oil on my hair and let it sit for like 30min - 1hr and when I go to rinse my hair the little bits of glue seem to disintegrate - also mixing in some sugar into the olive oil makes for a great scalp scrub (my head was always so dry after extensions due to not being able to use oils near my scalp)

Hi! How comfortable are these? I had tape ins but they’re just so uncomfortable especially when sleeping.
@caseyelizabeth19304 жыл бұрын
When they are first applied they are a little uncomfortable since your head won't be used to the weight of them for a day or two, but after that I have no issues with them until they grow out to the point of needing to be taken out because they will start to feel heavy again at that point
@C.Rissa872 жыл бұрын
How does it not break down the original keratin? And the extension just all fall apart?

So I could try olive oil with this method? I went for a massage a couple pf weeks ago and I ended up with a little oil at the base of my skull and hairline and a few of my extensions came out in that area after washing the following day.
@caseyelizabeth19304 жыл бұрын
Yeah I've used olive oil a few times when taking them out! I recommend leaving them coating in the olive oil for a day or two after removing them from your hair and then rinsing them out because it will make the hair super soft if you plan on using them again in the future! :)

Hi Casey!! Good video thank you, I would like to know what you use to melt the keratin when you reuse the hair and how do you prep it? Thank you
@caseyelizabeth19304 жыл бұрын
I am going to do an entire video dedicated to this as soon as I can get my hair toned at the salon and then I will be reapplying my extensions! :) If you are looking to reapply yours before I get to do that video I use a tool called a pro fusion tool, which is like a very small hair straightener that will heat up and melt the keratin. Before I apply my extensions I make sure I have clean dry hair (make sure you do not put any styling creams in your hair). I will also straighten my hair since It makes it easier for my sister to apply the extensions

Hello which hair extension technique do you prefer? And I saw that you mentioned that you get your hair at hairshop how much grams do you purchased?
@caseyelizabeth1930 Жыл бұрын
heyy! my current favorite is the beaded weft exentsions since they blend the best with my hair - from the hair shop I buy their one-step wefts and usually only use one pack, but if I want very thick hair I'll use 2 packs
@caseyelizabeth1930 Жыл бұрын
also in terms of grams it depends on the type of extensions but for keratin I use anywhere from 80g-120g depending on how thick I want my hair to be

Following you from Italy 🇮🇹 right now, I am approximately going to remove my keratin extancions in the next days cuz I am wearing them from a 3 month and half, I have to start remove expecially the ones who are a bit too much unite and starting knotting/ with some knots 🪢 The girl who did me them cannot remove them for me because of covid and she didn’t give to me the information tips I found on your video... especially she didn’t mentioned I had to control the extancion so much. And that would were important to be knew and to be told cuz now I am a little anxious for those who have very little (fortunately, they seems...) knots. I really hope that I won’t have problems or damages because I really would love to re apply them after 20days after the total remotion (would love to reapply them at least in the right moment after the remotion if they are ok but I comprehend I have to let my hair take a little break because those treatments are always stressful for them💖) Xoxo from Italy P.s. my name is Elizabeth as well 😘😘😘

And what to do if we couldn't take care of them well and they are already super tangled?😥 How to take them off like that?
@caseyelizabeth19303 жыл бұрын
I would suggest putting some type of oil like olive oil or coconut oil on the roots of you hair and on the bonds to try and loosen the bonds first before you use the tool to remove them. It is going to be a really slow process to get them out, but I recommend watching my video where I explain how I took out my extensions when they were tangled (the video is called How To Avoid Hair Extension Disasters) I know how terrifying it is when they get tangled so definitely check out that video and if you have any other questions let me know! 😄
