First make sure whether CPU fan is spinning or not if it's spinning you will hear noise from the backside . If fan is not spinning then probably laptop is not getting sufficient power so try to power on laptop with new power adapter. If CPU fan is working but even no display then try connecting laptop with desktop monitor . If doest works at all then there may be issue of ram and motherboard
