My brother, an idea to convert long videos to shorts. Simply resize the already made full size video in canva. Just click on resize & magic switch. It is located on top of the page next to the file . Then select the size. Select the first option called youtube shorts. Then cut the amount of video you want like the first 15 seconds. Then Delete the rest including audio delete.

I use that a lot and it works for me. What you'd do is to regenerate multiple times till you get a perfect picture.
