I followed the path until i got to dlcpacks and the only folder I had was mp202301 and a bunch of other folders except that one folder (NEVERMIND I FIGURED IT OUT)

so im trying to replace them with ZERO luck.... I have tried the rpf folder those are in and other patch days with no luck. I had them in before with no issues but i had to do a full reinstall and now they dont work.

Replacing them is just as easy as changing the vehicles you want to the dlc's file name. The problem is the dlc's default livery bugs the modded vehicle's livery

I didn't delete them, I converted them. Turned Police5 into another los santos slot and the polgauntlet is now a highway patrol Challenger. Now I have two extra vanilla slots!

@@Sketzishim23 Well first, lets use police5 as the example here. If like me, you want police5 to be an lspd unit, simply replace the model in open iv like you normally would, then go to your agency.xml file in your lspdfr folder. Then under lspd you'll see police5. Change the police5 line to the following: police5 Then delete the police5 from any other agencies it's set to spawn in. So if you wanted police5 to be a sheriff unit, do the same thing in revers etc etc. And thats it. IMO a MUCH better solution to just simply turning them off... I will try to answer any further questions as I want to spread the word on how to make these slots work.

ALWAYS ALWAYS BACKUP YOUR FILS!!! using OPENIV, navigate to: gtav>mods>update>dlcpacks>mp2023_02>dlc.rpf>common>data and put/replace the carvariations line for police5 wiht the following line: police5 134 134 156 156 134 134 156 156 134 134 156 156 134 134 156 156 134 134 156 156 157_massacaro2_modkit

They're removed for me, however still respond as backup units and I can still spawn them in the police garage.......... Any fixes?

I know the older police vehicles are in the dispatch meta which controls responders and backups. IIRC using codewalker to edit the fixed spawn locations - its been awhile since I did any modding with gta v. Not sure if there are any files to edit for the parked ones. I'm not sure I like this method op posted since theres something else controlling the spawn and editing that would be cleaner.

It is mostly because there are no liveries for the new cop cars so people want to remove them. That is exactly why I am here cause I use Swedish police cars but since they are not so popular the new cop carrs don't have any Swedish replacement models/liveries so there will just be a bunch of Swedish and American police cars which ruins immersion.
