I find it more effective to loosen the bolt holding them, then pedal around a little to loosen them. Or jump on the cranks a little while riding. I couldn't get mine off by hammering. I have thunderbolts.

have you had the pedals come loose yet? i changed my wombolts to lhd ages back and they somehow stayed tight for years haha, did end up changing the pedal shafts though coz it feels weird riding on backwards pedals

Your 100% correct but my pedals have not yet screwed out and its been about 3 months now.

I'm pretty sure you cant make a right hand drive crank left hand drive. I think the pedals will unscrew while you're peddling if you do that. Js
