How To Remove & Replace Side View Mirror Honda Accord 7th Gen 2003-2007 Door | DIY Auto Repair Guide

In this video, young mechanic Aiman will show you how to remove and replace or re-install side view mirror on a 2004 Honda Accord 7th generation, which is the same for model years 2003, 2005, 2006 and 2007 DX LX EX 2.4L & 3.0L V6 engine. Although this DIY removal tutorial guide is for the LH driver side door, it should be the same for the RH passenger side door. The process is very easy, anyone can do it, with minimal tools & in a very short period of time.
The procedures should also be very similar to most late model Honda and Acura vehicles such as Civic, Element, CRV, Pilot & Odyssey SUVs and minivans.
We're taking apart this car, and while doing so we would like to show you, and give you ideas on how-to take apart certain parts and components, interior, exterior, underbody and in the engine compartment so it they can assist you in fixing, removing, replacement & installation undertakings.

Just did this yesterday. Thank you for the clear instructions and video. Quite the easy repair. Saved me $40. Tip: if you pop open the clips on the door panel you can get a ratcheting wrench on the lower nuts.

Very good, I laughed when he dropped the nuts after saying "Make sure you hold onto them really tightly" and then the trick with the crumped up paper towel is a great idea!! I will try this myself as one of my mirrors has a cracked glass and the other has a broken heater so I am replacing both on my 2007 accord

I just stuffed foam in the space. Also a 8mm box or open end wrench works best for bottom nuts.
