Good video, thanks! I have a leather jacket that I wanted to add 2 male snaps for the straps to be adjustable for the existing female end to make it tighter but could not find one tailor who worked with snaps so I'm going to buy one of those snap kits and try to do it myself, you make it look easy and have a good work surface and tools.

Thank you for a very informative video. I'm going to replace the old caps from my mother's 23 year Honda HR-V rear parcel shelf. And I just needed a clear view on how to remove and replace them. So again thank you for your advice, it's really appreciated on how to do it the professional way. You get a clear thumbs up from me.

By the way, I have found that some heavy duty line 20 snaps cannot be pried off easily. To remove them, you can drill them off using 1/4" drill bit.

The bigger snaps are tough fellas. Sometimes drilling works, but sometimes it just spins the snap. The large cap and socket can be removed the same way I remove the stud and eyelet: pry it with the cutting plyers instead of breaking it off with the screwdriver.

Thanks! I just tried someone else's drilling method and it didn't work. Yor way worked perfectly, now I just need to get your pliers.

Nice job! I needed to see it done with the snaps that I am using (line 20 snaps) and you did it ... with aplomb! subscribed

Can you do a video on how to remove the pyramids please?? I have a belt I would like to adjust! Thank you!

If you pop snap off to reset can you use the same snap or is it permanently damaged?

Does it work the same way with a nice flannel shirt that you’ve had for a couple years and not use much cause you don’t like the stamps and you wanna put buttons on

I have a Tyrolia ski jacket from the 90's with distinctive front logo snaps. The female side (with the logo) is completely missing. Is there a way to remove/dissassemble one from a less visible location and reassemble it so as to reuse the visible part on the front of the jacket?

No, they can't be removed without destroying them.

I have a snap I want to remove since part of it broke off. The only thing is the manufacturer put glue on the snap and I’m not sure how to go about getting that off. Any suggestions?

I have a branded cap (Harley Davidson) that I want to reuse. Is that doable?

They aren't reusable.

They only make a few sizes, you just have to try out what works.

I would just use the plyers on the cap and socket and snip it off. You won't be able to fling it off soft fabric like I do on the heavy leather.
