hi need some help i opened a seiko 5 as well but im worried that its a fake the oscillator is the same as yours but there is no seiko imprint anywhere else and i watched a youtube on fake seiko but the oscillator there has no imprint where as mine does, and when i disassembled it i found a horse shoe shaped wire but then i cant find that on any manual or when u were doing it?

Leanne C it seems genuine for me , I think you have an Asian market Seiko those watches might not have any imprint

Thank you, this is exactly what I needed. A marker fell of the dial so I needed to open up the watch and glue it back on. I needed to remove the stem so I followed your instructions and it came right out. Perfect!

dashdotdash100 on most of the watches I have I have showed internals in the review .. except for the divers but I have put in photos .. as for the removing stems I am not an expert but I will try to do more videos of that .. I recommend Ayos Watches channel I think he is more competent than I am

I think this is an interesting video, but I have no idea why did you try to remove stem? Just for fun i guess. I won't try to do this on my watch, because I am bad at put peaces together. lol
