Nick, thank you for doing this video. I was about to replace shifter boot and knob, but when I got to the place, after screws al removed, I lost heart when the console would not release from base of bevel.... A little more exertion needed, but was afraid to break some mysterious and hidden tab. This video was my answer. Cheers. Eric
