How To Remove the Door Panel (1988-1994) Chevrolet c1500 2500 3500 Pickup & Suburban

What’s up everybody! In this video we are removing the door panel on this 1993 Chevrolet C1500. The process is the same across the 1988-1994 C/K Truck series (1500, 2500, 3500) and the Suburban. We are demonstrating the process on the drivers side, however it is the same process on the passenger side as well.

Great, simple and straight forward, thanks! I am having difficulty lifting the door panel off the top edge. Is it just tight to the sheet metal of the door frame, or are there more clips there that need to be lifted? It looks like yours came off entirely with the inner rubber seal along the top. Mine is starting to separate but is in good condition so wasn't sure if taking it off separately would force me to replace it also? Any tips re: the top edge? (1990 C2500 Cheyenne pickup, so mine has the window cranks as well. Got those off from another helpful youtuber!) Thanks again!

Try using one hand to hold down the inner rubber seal as you lift. You should not need to replace the seal in this process!

The cheapest places will always be a junk yard. Check your local ones for any in good condition and match the interior of your vehicle!
