How to Hide or Show the Bookmark Toolbar in Chrome? Very simple and easy to do. This is the location for the bookmark bar on good landing page.

maybe it is because you wrote something wrong. In my case I wrote "Chroome" instead of "Chrome"@@Pixel_Phoenix

If you don't have Chrome under Policies, highlight the Policies Folder and right-click to create a New Key and call it Google. Right-click that folder and create a New Key and call it Chrome. Right-click on the Chrome folder and select New Dword (32 Bit) Value, call that value BookmarkBarEnabled. Double click on BookmarkBarEnabled and the value should be set to zero. Bookmark Bar should now be hidden in Chrome.

I use Firefox for my browser. When I install it the first thing I do after logging in is to show the bookmark bar. I use it all the time to go to my main sites.

TYVM for that. Worked for me. But I had to create "New Key" with Google and there a "NEW KEY" with Chrome and than add new "Dword 32bit Value with BookmarkBarEnabled You are awesome.

the problem is that it gives me a little "monitored by your orginazation" thing in the "more"/the 3 dots at the bottom of the list when i tweak the registry. help please? how do i remove it??

well i have another step to remove it the step(first you go where there is three dot where this youtuber went and then click bookmarks then go to bookmark manager then it show all the bookmarks u have then click the three dot and then it will show edit delet and some other options then you go to delete then you have to delete all)other step is quite long so i cant tell

I'm running Google Chrome in Windows 10 Pro. In the Registry Editor, I clicked on Policies but Google is not listed. What do I do? EDIT: Google is listed near the top of the column above Policies. I typed in BookmarkBarEnabled made sure it read 0 hit Save and closed all the browsers. When I opened the browser back up the Bookmark Bar was still there. HELP!!!

If airplane mode is turned on,or wi-fi is turned off,the available networks arent displayed (youll find both of these settings when clicking on the signal symbol just along from the pc clock display)

@@Britec09 , all l had to do is, l went to Open Network & internet settings, and l did Network Reset, and now my wireless adapter is showing Available wireless Networks... Brit, honestly l hate windows 10, but like you said we have no choice, but to upgrade to windows 10.. By the way, in reality l haven't gotten rid of my Windows 7 device as of yet, and at the same time l had to purchase a new device with windows 10 home already installed which Pretty much l switch between the two operating systems until l get familiar with windows 10's interface.. Brit, windows 10 is unstable operating system for the moment, and it's going to take tons of updates from Microsoft in order for windows 10 to work properly like windows 7 .. Regards.

@@stevecarter2876 Thanks for the tip Avast Premier did manage to find all the culprits and I managed to remove them and I got Malware Bytes Premium(Trial Version) and I got to remove some more nasty stuff
