Excellent demonstration Jeff! These pliers are definitely worth adding to the arsenal. I use linesman pliers when I can on those constant tension clamps. They seem to work pretty well. I the past I used a small pick in between the hose and fitting to break the surface tension. These pliers speed up the job. Thanks again Jeff! My driveway still hasn't melted. Stay warm my friend!
@jefftovani553510 күн бұрын
Yea just another good option,only work in the size range mentioned though!!! stay warm my friend,very cold here,-15 last night,only 8 for the high today!!

@jefftovani5535 I just watched your video from 1yr ago on your USA Craftsman tools! Great stuff. I'm in the fun process of retiring them and buying more. Got a new 56/42" box bolted together, waiting on the hutch & top 42" box. Got 2 cabinets, in blue! Now time to fill her up! And these videos are a tremendous help in making my decisions. "Jeff has been in my house for a while!" Thanks and keep up the good work. 🤙

Really nifty I have an old pair of hog ring pliers I have used for years for stubborn hoses and it works well but not quite that efficient for sure I have an old pair of kd tools hose clamp pliers that hold them clamps and never let go I love them people laugh when they see me use them and say you know a pair of slip joints do the same job right and I say yes of course they do you just got to like chasing the clamps down looking for them when the pliers slip and the clamp goes flying lol not my cup of tea great content my friend really digging them capri wrenches you keep showing I'm definitely going to have to get some been looking at them 4 in one ratcheting wrenches double box end I believe they are a four peice set they seem like they would be nice to carry in a go bag take care my freind

I have those pliers.. a little too thick for some spots but handy when they fit. I also use the cheap trim panel pliers to pop off inline filters on mowers.. try it on ur scag next time.. saves a lot of skin.

I like hose grip pliers and hooks. The hose grips are best used by grabbing the hose and twisting it back and forth before you pull it off. I don’t have one of these yet. I was going to get the betool hose clamp removal kit on amazon that had a bunch of pliers including one of these but instead i just got the oem hose clamp pliers with the long reach ratcheting mechanism. Probably made by the same people making the astro pair

So handy I'm sold 👍 only limitation I see is they obviously need a backing on the end side.. so if it's just a hose running along a line in the open there'd be nothing for the tool to push off against and it'd be useless in that case, but it's a minority example
@jefftovani553510 күн бұрын
Yea it needs something to push agaisnt!! thanks my friend for watching!!
