"Somebody, somewhere on youtube has done it." Today, you are that guy. I now think I can get my stuck drawer out! Thank you!

Brother, you just saved the day! I found a long lost pry bar and a pill bottle of washers behind this damned drawer. I was ready to get out a grinder and come in from behind. Was driving me crazy for months!

I know how it is to have something rattling around and can"t get to it.

I'm in the middle of restoring this old box someone was going to trash because it was a little rusty. I wish I found this video before spending a good part of my afternoon trying to figure out how the drawers came out lmao. Thank you!

Hey thank you for your video, especially showing removal of the sliding mechanism. Liked the part where your cat peeked to see what you were doing.

Should you grease or oil your toolbox slides? Keep up the good work??

Lithium will work. Old timers I talked to said anything from Vaseline, candle wax or car wax. (I use wax on some of my wood drawer slides) High tech stuff like Fluid Film or Tri-flow. Anything BUT WD-40! it's a water disbursal or solvent not a "lube"

Did you restore that box? What did you use for paint?

I have not yet completed it working on it a bit at a time. Other projects have pushed this on out, ya I know that's a long time. Thank you for continued interest.

Does it work on a stanley toolbox?

Not sure but, I would imagine it will work on any Make with "friction" slides.
