I can't wait to try this. I bought a demin jacket that I bleached and washed and I noticed at the edges of the frayed parts now have a brown/yellowish tent. I want to see if I added the baking soda mixture described in your video would it take off the brown/yellowish tent?

You can turn baking soda into Super Washing Soda in the oven. However I would highly recommend getting your hands on some Super Washing Soda- you can find it at Walmart and most grocery stores for around $4 a box.

Hello! Any danger of dye bleeding with this method?

It depends on if the dye is stabilized in the jeans! I will see some dye run off with this method from time to time- but nothing that has had me concerned. You can always add a little salt to the mixture to help stabilize if you are worried!

Do you know if the yellowing might actually be a set in stain versus yellowing from oxidation?

It does not appear to be a stain. I got this jean jacket at a thrift store though so I don't know for sure but it doesn't seem to be a stain it just looks to have a bit of yellow kind of all over it but mostly evident in some parts of the jacket where the features happen to have lighter colored denim ​@@CriteriaVintage
