Growing up I was never taught about the holy spirit. I feel like a child learning of the Lord for the first time. How do I know if i worship in spirit. John 4:24 (KJV) God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

I believe it means from your heart, as we see heart and Spirit are often mentioned together. It's not about feelings but about decisions, God will judge from what we did or did not do. But the personal private 42:16 worship will create intimacy and step by step being changed by what we behold. To God worship is not only words, but eg kneeling, using hands... Blessings to you ❤

The 4th chapter of John, Jesus is teaching on salvation, verse 14. So we by faith are one with Jesus 1Cor6:17, And the same as He is in this world, 1John4:17. We have put off the old and put on the new man/ woman that was created in righteousness and true holiness Ephesians 4:22-24. Then all of this is sealed in our spirits by the Holy Spirit Ephesians 1:13. Now your Spirit is pure just like Jesus and no sin ever enters 1John 3:9. We worship Him in Spirit because of the truth of this relationship! How awesome is that 🎉
