That pump up sprayer actually looks like it's built pretty heavy duty with the metal pump handle. Most pump sprayers have a plastic pump handle and are sub-par quality. I give Chemical Guys credit for going a little extra and making their pump sprayer heavy duty. Foamers are a great, inexpensive tool for laying a thick layer of cleaning foam all over your wheels without having to keep pumping over and over again and making your hands hurt over time. If you spray it out of a spray bottle, it will still give you foaming action, but nothing like a foamer can give you. It's definitely a worthwhile investment and it should last you years and years with proper maintenance. The only maintenance I do on my foamer is rinse it out with clear water after use. That's the key to getting long term use from any sprayer, but especially a foamer.

I love to use an air compressor to initialy dry the tire and rim! Then I dry with a microfiber cloth if needed! Spray tire shine on applicator, not tire, then massage on! Ha! Beautiful Chemical guys!!!
