Great video and advice as usual. My only difference of opinion is that I would never pay a year up front; massive risk with minimal reward.

My place in NA Jomtien would easily be $8000 a month in Santa Monica 😂 I pay $1600 for 116 sm but the building and service is amazing, 40th floor super quiet, unobstructed sea view directly across the street from the beach. I ride by Riviera every day, nice looking but too close to noisy traffic.

Love your videos, thank you for all the information incredibly helpful. I was curious about your Tesla you showed in your incredible house video…. How are the charging stations there? Any problems trying to charge your car?
@RamzeTravels3 ай бұрын
At home it’s as simple as plugging into any outlet since it’s all 220 here and I never need more than an overnight. There are a lot of electric chargers all over the main roads in major cities and Bangkok and Pattaya have Tesla Superchargers. It’s all one plug here so it doesn’t matter which you use.

Hi Ramze - what about travel options inside Thai cities? Everyone seems to talk about buying and renting motorbikes, but I'm definitely not looking to risk my life (given the high accident rates there, etc.). I wouldn't trust a motorbike taxi either. How are four-wheel options in the city if you don't own a car? Might be a topic for a video.

Worst advice ever to pay an entire year's rent upfront just to save less than $20 bucks a month. ANYTHING can happen. For god's sake, we JUST came out of a pandemic. Apartment could flood causing mold overgrowth, and that is just if an HVAC unit has a condensation line leak, I'm not talking natural disaster flood. You could get sick, injured, have a family emergency back in your home country. A tsunami could hit. Landlord could die and then who owns your apartment? Neighbors from hell could move in above you, below you, next door to you. Never, ever pay a year of rent up front to save such a small amount unless you don't mind losing several month's rent. These things happens, every day (except the tsunami), so don't think it can't happen to you. The longer you are alive, the more you begin to recognize just how often these things happen in the world. I can't even believe someone is suggesting this. ffs Unbelievable. Not at all surprised a landlord is suggesting this. smh
@RamzeTravels3 ай бұрын
I saved $300 a month doing this. Cost vs risk of those things happening favor savings. I also have a very large and reputable agency in the middle of us. The sky isn’t always falling. 🤣
