Yeah, the way I dye with paint is to mix the paint with a glob of shampoo, and saturate it on the hair, then brush through with a comb, then gently run a bit of water over, and squeeze out the excess shampoo, to keep as much color as I can in. Then I blot more paint out with paper towel so nothing is wet and dripping. And I let it all dry. I know there's other methods, like using vinegar etc.., but that's how I do it. I prefer paint, to ink, cause it dries better.

The acrylic paint is great for the dolls lips and then give it a top coat with the clear nail varnish.

Beautiful repaint. And you can always dye, or streak one of your dolls hair red with that left over paint.

when you use the liquid lipstick and over coat it with clear acrylic, how well does that last? Id be concerned about it smearing off but Id never thought of it. just getting started doing my own doll repairs. so, very glad to see your tutorial. Thank you!

The thing that's always annoyed me about dawa is in general is that they never put the lines name on them. like bacon stamp with date and the brand but why couldn't they ever stamp on what line they're from? That's just me though.
