So for everyone who is looking for the materials used it looks like fibreglass car body filler, so like the stuff that you would use to repair a small dent or rust patch in a cars body work, which makes total sense as the product to use for a upvc door too 👍🏼

Chop strand fibreglass and body filler

It's a panel, just swap it out for a new one, they are super cheap. By the time you buy filler, sandpaper and paint it won't be much more money to do the job right. You will always be able to see that repair.
