(Apologies for my poor voiceover, I don't typically do videos like this --if anything is unclear ask me a question in a comment) After searching online for videos on how to repair the focusing on the 20-35mm, I only found an old forum post, of which its images had long been lost. This video is to help those who are looking for something easier to follow along with. If you want to skip the disassembly and reassembly, skip to 7:12. It's more a "casual repair" video, because this is 100% not a professionally done repair. Luckily though, this is by far one of the easiest repairs you can attempt. (Also I kept calling them wires; I forgot their names, but they're ribbon cables) You should be more careful than me when I recorded this, but even when I was doing it nonchalantly for the video, it turned out fine.

I have a Canon EF 20-35mm f2.8 that rattles inside, and wont focus manually or AF. Do you have a repair video for it, or is it anything similar to this 20-35 f 3.5- 4.5 repair? Thank you!

I haven't owned that lens. It also seems like there is very little information on repairing it on the internet. I think you're on your own with that one, sorry. I'd advise either selling it for parts, buying a replacement, or if you already have a replacement-- start taking it apart (and documenting the process for others to reference) since you have little to lose.
