For those who say just buy a new one. Some offices don't have supply closets. One may need to drive/ email a main office to resupply/ reorder. It's easier and cheaper to take a few minutes to repair it rather than replace it in thid case.

Guys this tutorial is like 95% correct. At 2:33 you can see that the tape just wasn't properly inserted and aligned into the tip. Just make sure the tape is properly wrapped around the tip and is inside the case. Then insert the small cog into the case and turn it until there's no more slack tape (nice and tight). Close it up and it's good to go again.
