This is a good trick, I learned it about 18 years ago when I used to make doors and door frames for a living...... things often get banged around in a workshop/factory setting. This is a good tip 😁

I learned this trick a long time ago in shop class. A jack*ss bully went around smacking others' work with a metal bench dog. I also learned that you can't steam out a dent that has broken the grain. The steam that would plump up the grain exits at the break instead.

Correct, and thanks for mentioning that. I should have pointed out in the video that it doesn’t work if the wood fibers are broken.
