HOW TO REPAIR ESAM 6620 GENERAL ALARM ERROR DE'LONGHI

I had the general alarm error myself with the ground defuser fully extended. I fixed it by unplugging the unit for a couple of seconds then turned it back on so that the ground defuser homes itself removed it and gave the inside a good clean.
