Yes!!! Postpartum shedding is no👏 joke👏!!! I experienced it with both of my babies at 4 months postpartum! And then AGAIN once I stopped nursing them (I just stopped nursing my 23 month old son)!! The stuff no one tells you about pregnancy! Hang in there! Each pregnancy is different, just as every woman is different.... Stay strong! And congratulations on your baby boy!! He's adorable!! Yeah its something new for me too. My hair was flourishing through my pregnancy but after month 5 I was confused, i thought it was my hair product but everyone said it's probably post-partum shedding.i guess everyone is different

Postpartum shedding is definitely a thing. Not everyone gets it but it definitely exists for some. I’ve seen videos of a lot of women losing their edges really badly after their pregnancy.

Definitely, but first get those ends trim first. When you don't trim your ends it tends to damage other parts of our hair. Trimming at least every 3-4 months should be apart of your regular routine just to maintain the health of your hair. Hope this helps love!

Some people lose less hair postpartum & don’t notice and some lose a medium to high amount. Every pregnancy is different and so are everyone’s hormone levels. Some women breastfeed & some don’t. Breastfeeding puts your body in high demand of nutrition and some people have nutrients majorly depleted during pregnancy. Some women meet their nutritional needs postpartum & some don’t. I think that’s a bigger factor than people realize. Take your vitamins! Also, some people get on birth control afterward & some don’t. That affects your hormone levels. Some have thyroid issues postpartum. There are so many factors that can impact women postpartum. Are you relaxed or stressed? That also affects hormone levels! I only really lost my edges, but I was too tired & busy to care and they soon grew back in. Your hair texture and color can even change after pregnancy. It’s wild!

Sorry babe, the postpartum shedding is random AF but 100% real!!! I kept track of every change my body makes and just when I thought I had things under control.....BAM! My damn edges went bald & 3xs more shedding than you experienced. I knew not to panic because I was prepared some what but ummmmm ya girl was catching wind in places I aint NEVER felt the cool breeze before! plus my texture changed and now my hair is wayyyy thicker and super heavy so I gotta work extra hard to manage it.
