Exactly lmao. I only noticed this after I took the phone to the shop and left. Gave them a call later tho and they were more than happy to make it a Silver iPhone now (previously Pacific Blue). It was even a tad cheaper. Only detail is that the phone still believes to be blue in some device icons and pictures, which makes total sense tbh.

@@Elekworld interesting . When I buy them on other platforms, it usually comes totally empty. For me the most anointing thing in house replacement is transferring of this meshes, volume and power retaining clips and magsafe magnets. Very interested to know how much your prices are different. Please note, I'm not a repair shop, just a private person, that does it for friends, colegs at work etc.

Does magsafe still work if the housing gets changed and is it real apple certified oem housing ? And will face id still woke too ?

In the video, the magsafe will keep working because we've installed all magnet pieces back into new housing. So if the magnets pieces were installed, magsafe will works, no matter it's an original housing or not. Face ID still works if replace a back housing, unless repairman break any flex or cameras of face ID module.
