Great video. I am having a problem with this exact type of mirror. The mirror makes a ringing noise when it is turned off, but the noise goes away when I turn the mirror on. The mirror is plugged in via socket. Any help would be much appreciated!

I'm replacing a ballast and want to know if is it neccisary to splice the ground from the new driver into the new power cord's ground or can I just separately ground them both? Great video! I'm an amateur electrician with just a year or so experience and you definitely got my sub! Thanks brother!

in DC you have no ground, just try to connect it the same way it was with the original or as close as posible

I recently bought an LED mirror and the light shuts off by itself after a few minutes. The touch power button and defrost button. Stay lit though. Is this normal?

Do these lights go out often?? How long they last?

Good led lightbulb should last 10 years at least If they are low quality in one year they may spot working

Why not use the existing on and off ?

@gabakbusiness yes if you have 3 wires coming from the on and off switch most likely that blue wire is what's going to allow you to turn the mirror on/off I purchased a new LED power supply ran the blue wire to the 110v defogger , neutral to the defogger with the AC neutral(blue) and line with line in power supply works like new

I'm telling you right now if I spend that kind if money and they swear I'm supposed to get 50k hours on it as they claim for these led light mirtors, I will not be fixing it. I'll buy new and return the broken one. Just ran into that issue on my 20k light that hadn't even seen 500 hours. Nope.
