Great old school video, but when pounding over the doorskin/patch section, how did you do it? They are both thick pieces and if not bent properly will trash the finished product. So how did you do it?

Was there something wrong with that wing that couldn't be repaired with spot patches and tin knocking? I didn't see a previous video where you decided that the panel needed replacing. It's nice that MG panels are so widely available, but I have a Spitfire and many panels are just not available, and when they are, the US version is often not reproduced. An example of this is the shelf where the brake and clutch masters mount. The right-hand drive version is available, but the left-hand drive version is not.

Hiya, I think from memory it was fairly frilly at the bottom. To be honest I can't remember now as it was a while ago. Although I could have fabricated something, it is generally quicker to fit a panel. Much lower risk of distortion, which obviously required shaping up. So really a time thing. But thanks for your questions

Tony. Great stuff but! you know what your doing , l know what your doing , most of your audience haven't got a clue and look to you for guidance . Be more detailed with your process. I.e.your spot welding ,people need to see why you drill the hole and then what you do afterwards. I have passed a comment already with another of your video's don't think l'm being a *anker l really want you to succeed.Take care and stay safe.
