How to repair oven - heating element replacement

Thanks k-nemo. I've been meaning to replace my bent grill element for a year or so. This video gave me the competence and the confidence to buy a replacement and have a go at exchanging it. New grill element fitted and works a treat. Thanks again and happy new year.

that nut on the right with the white thing is hard to remove takes a bit of time my question is does your whole grill glow red when on or only the inner rings ??

The whole thing should heat up equally. In this solution there are two circuits. One may be burnt out or the power terminal is not making contact.

Took an resistance and connected to 220v why it isn't glowing as it would on the oven, know why? Trying to built a cocktop to my shed... it heats but not much as normally would. Also didn't saw any capacitor on the oven I scraped it from... any clue?

Tisztelt k-nemo! Úgy látom hogy ön ért a tűzhelyekhez, és remélem tud segíteni. Egy Amica főzőlapom van, pár napja azt csinálja hogy a nagy főzőzónát nem lehet kikapcsolni. Folyamatosan izzik. Csak úgy tudom kikapcsolni, ha az automatát lehúzom. Akkor viszont két kicsi működik, a nagy, egy kicsi és a sütő viszont nem. Mi okozhatja a nagy fözőzóna meghibásodását? Amúgy most 5 éves és eddig jó volt. Elektromos hiba vagy a valami egyéb hiba? Előre is köszönöm a válaszát.

A question about cookers with an element like this how do you clean underneath it without taking it out. I was told told mine will not told 😳😳

The heating element is at the very top, it won't be in your way when you clean the oven. You are not suppose to renove it, unless its broken. Just clean the oven like normal.

@@k-nemo hi I do clean the rest well, but the roof of the oven gets dirty and the element is in the way, a real pain.. Is thee a trick the professionals use?
