Great video indeed. I have been having the same issue with my 2012 Toyota Camry I took it to several different mechanics but they all say different things. So finally I to the Toyota dealership and they wanted to charge me $1200.00 to replace this STAR BUSHING. By watching this video I hope I will be able to accomplish this task but removing so many things is mind-boggling. Thank you sir for the great video and the part number. God Bless you.

Thank you sir. I could not find any videos on 2014 Toyota Venza's. I called Toyota to get the bushing and they said that they did not service that part for venza's. It was only for Camry's. So after removing the the airbag and the the heater floor duct I removed the 2-12 mm motor bolts. I used a mirror to look up inside where the coupler would sit at and I found the green coupler pieces everywhere. (I did not have to drop the steering column or take the steering wheel off). Went to Toyota and they would not sell me one for a venza. I had to tell them it was for Camry although I had the part number from your video. Anyway I blew the broken pieces out of the servo and install the new coupler and everything worked great. No more noise.

I have a Toyota avensis 2010 in europe with electric steering. And was thinking it might be suspension strut top mounts or tie rod ends or the stabiliser rods until I bumper on this video and a few others on KZbin with the same issue. How can I check if my toyota model which is a European car in contrast to yours which is USA. And what happens if you leave that bushing as it is, broken. Is it of paramount importance to change it or will it carry on working with no issues for the safety of the car?
