How to Repair Volume Buttons Not Working - Samsung Galaxy A41

*The only proper guide I see out there to fix hardware part. Other guides are no brainers like:* _'I am certain that I didn't though of using THE VOLUME SLIDER IN PHONE SETTINGS!'_ As for me, it all started from slowly degrading buttons to complete ignorance of the input. Resulted in me using the 'jerk' method of swiping the volume manually via settings/apps. Currently I am very pissed about it so I have decided to order buttons and so the adhesive material bc I am kinda shortfunded currently for a proper phone. Don't care if I'll break it as I have a minor replacement anyways. Too bad I do not have a heatgun and probably I'll try to rely on the hair dryer which might be quite a big problem considering your (video author) words about common adhesive being very strong. I guess I have to hope that'll work out. About other parts I am pretty confident as I have had some experience with hardware, commonly with PCs. Will be the first with the phones for me. _God forbid me and so the others buying another cheap Samsung such as 'A' series_ which should also end with remarkable doubled 'S' to illustrate its reliability in my opinion 😂 P.s. as a prime example of my words if not a double rigged lottery win in flawed units, my mom has the A31 which has a screen burnout. Appearing for second time after being repaired, ong. P.p.s. We bought em as those were one of the cheapest offers back then for hardware they include. Not buying anything from Koreans except top tiers and washing machines as mine serving for 10yr+. Only heater and suspension (optional) due to the unserviced usage I had to replace, lol.

Yeah, no idea why they fail, but it's fairly common for these series of phones. A hairdryer is fine to remove the plastic cover, just make sure you have some adhesive for phones or get precut adhesive, because it gets pretty destroyed. Good luck on your repair!

@@TheRestoreGeek thanks! I have already booked the adhesive (B-7000) but also managed to get a few contacts with people who'll probably got a better solution compared to the hairdryer. Ordered the buttons too as they are listed relatively cheap on market. Prob gonna try around march as then the buttons will be available. I guess it's bad QC (quality control) of Samsung or the manufacturer of buttons. Just like the mechanical switches on mouses often love to fail. Ty for help once again! 😁

@@TheRestoreGeek fixed it just today with an assistance! It's so good to change volume now compared to changing it like an idiot with settings! Let's see how long it would rock. P.s. I couldn't change it sooner bc I've got ill and otitis (ear infection). Should be fully restored in next 2 weeks I hope. P.p.s. ty again for guides and stuff! Goodluck!

Mine’s called Suxun E-7000 transparent. You can find it in various sizes. If you search for E-7000 transparent adhesive you should find some equipment and parts sites in your country that sell these. Hope that helps 😁

I mean the part is very cheap, but don’t know what they charge where you live. Also depends on your budget, if you like the phone and wanna keep it, go for it, if not get a new one

So yeah, I guess it’s up to you. It’s clearly cheaper than a new phone, but it also might stop working again. If you remember how much yours was when you got it, maybe add another 100 quid if possible and usually the difference in quality is pretty significant.
