Not quite what I was looking for, but it gave me enough insight on how to fix my baby's toy, so thank you! And by "baby" I mean my puppy, who within the last hour both received and ripped her very first stuffed animal. She's currently very upset that her Dino was taken away. Update: after an hour of trying to fix her Dino, I finally showed it to her and she was ecstatic to have him back! 2d update: 10 minutes. She had it back for less than 10 minutes. Now her Dino doesn’t have a face.

Wow, I never knew that but i have been washing and drying my stuffed animals in my washer and dryer and haven't had any issues yet.

Make sure you know what your tap water is like before you put your precious childhood friend in it. If you live somewhere with hard water like me, not being able to wring out as much water as possible, and then tumble dry it can leave a lot of mineral deposits on the fabric. Anytime i've washed clothes in the sink and leave to air dry, the fabric remains stiff. Same concept as if you get something on your carpet or couch, use water to remove the stain, and now realize you have a water stain on your couch. If you use distilled water, none of that will happen.
