Hey thanks for the video. This also works with model FA507RM except that the copper heat sink has extra channels so if you want to remove the fans for cleaning you have to remove the copper heat sink first. I've so far cleaned and repasted twice with the video as reference so take my like as thanks.

I could not understand the difference which you were saying about the cpu/gpu and other chips paste. Kindly clarify.
@uFixTek2 ай бұрын
🫠Regarding your question, it is simple: for the CPU/GPU, you will need to use thermal paste (a well-known brand is recommended). For the rest of the components around the CPU/GPU, you will need to use thermal putty (thermal gel). Should you have any further questions or requests in the future, please don't hesitate to ask me. cheers🍻

What should I do to clean and check the "power" button problem? There have been some times when the laptop turns on with difficulty and I feel that maybe the power button has a problem
@uFixTek4 ай бұрын
🫠Regarding your question, if you have trouble with powering on and need to tap a lot on the power button or anything similar, you will need to replace the entire keyboard. The power button is part of the keyboard and uses the same membrane to communicate with the motherboard. You can't fix the power button; if you attempt to open the key or clean it, it will only get worse. Replace the keyboard. cheers🍻

@@uFixTek tnx❤️ Is there a way to know exactly what the problem is before opening the laptop? For example, with the help of something software

Sorry, but there's nothing you can do from the outside. We get this issue with these models, and the only fix is to replace the keyboard because the power button is on it.

Hey nice video, I just wanted to know what the thermal pads are on the RAM. And would I need it if I upgrade my laptop and if so which one is the best one ?
@uFixTek8 ай бұрын
🫠Regarding your question, it is not thermal pads, it is a thermal gel or thermal putty. get it from AliExpress for cheap or get the amazon a good brand like: K5 PRO: amzn.to/3vSE5DV Should you have any further questions or requests in the future, please don't hesitate to ask me. cheers🍻 This is an Amazon affiliate link. What happens if you put too much paste
@uFixTek7 ай бұрын
🫠Regarding your question, absolutely nothing, the paste is not conductive and it will not damage anything, it can be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol any time. that doesn't mean go a head and place 1kilo on the CPU. Should you have any further questions or requests in the future, please don't hesitate to ask me. cheers🍻
