Dang it ! I just got a 2010 Crown Victoria.. I got it from an actual police officer. He had had this car for 7 years straight. But it's missing some of those adjuster things or nuts that hold the headlights.. those lil black things that you had to thread in on the new ones...

That small hardware could be tough to find. Best bet would probably be a picknpull type place.

After having watched the first 1:35, I successfully replaced one in about 10 minutes. P.S. I got one used housing on ebay for $35. It is not cloudy!

Happy Holidays from Lake Stevens. Enjoyed all your Crown Vic content. My P71's came from the Snohomish County and Whatcom County Sheriff's Office. If you get tired of the dim halogen bulbs try out a set of 3 or 4 sided 6000K LED bulbs on ebay.

So on my 2004 crown Vic I’m trying too change my headlight an on all the videos it looks very easy I’ve too the two bars off an there no sliding them out like y’all did cause where the adjuster is there the Plasket nuts thing keeping it from coming out how do I get my head light out

If you are talking about the plastic nuts that are clipped into the core support that the threaded shafts of the adjusters go into they just pull out of the core support. This is of course after you take the metal bars off of them. The metal bars have keyholes in them. So you only raise them up so far and then you pull the metal bars off the nuts. I hope that makes sense.

I’ve changed mine once also and they’ve worked well since. Listen if you ever sell those rims shoot me a msg I will buy in a heart beat. Since this COVID deal began you can’t find FR500 anywhere, at least not a 05+ offset. I have a 08 P71, Love the videos !

Yo Mr. Black, Another home run hit, when it comes to DIY "How To". I don't know how you film these in real time. I could never do that, without a few dry runs. Geez, Isaac's old headlights looked good enough to be hung out on the clothes line to dry out, an be reinstalled in my '04 Vic compared to the factory originals I've got in there now. Been meaning to replace them for a few years now, but since I fitted LED bulbs the total light output, and color temp/quality is still better than the halogens I removed. Even though the assemblies are completely oxidized yellow from the damaged clear coat. $120 for new OEM Ford assemblies sounds completely reasonable. Thanks for putting the part numbers this time. 7:40 I didn't know Isaac's older sister was back in town. Is she on break from college? Nice seeing her again. -Chuck

No dry runs for me lol. I always try to show people what it's like as real as possible with the hands on portions. Admittedly there is stuff that gets edited to shorten the video of things that may be a struggle for a few minutes lol. I agree, I spent well over 120 each for certain factory headlights before. I think I've had a few headlights over the years that were upwards of 300 each for factory replacements. These definitely are not worth screwing around with IMO. Although if we live in the desert they would still be on the car hehe. PS the old lady says you are her favorite youtube friend.

It's time to replace mine too. Someone lost a load of party chairs on the freeway. Debris everywhere and broke my headlights . Hey Mr. I saw you installed yours you didn't take out the vent plugs out wandering if it's OK to leave on or take them off. Peace out.

Pascual I am not sure what you are talking about. I am here to learn though. Simply installed headlights as removed from the packaging. Wouldn't think there would be extra work required but I don't know.

I'm learning too installed headlights and just finished Adjusting them. I left the round plastic plugs On. I figure there won't be no problem. The old headlights have a tiny rubber hose. I guess it helps vent hot air out .

You can do this Shay. It has Magnaflow Magnapacks for mufflers. They are basically really expensive glass pack mufflers.

I just hit a deer for the first time ever last summer and it was a near death experience. Not your average deer hit that is for sure. This deer wound up in about 6 pieces and then ground into hamburger. Now I have deer PTSD when I drive in the woods. No joke.

That's a bummer man. I think as long as you can see where you original was adjusted to you should be able to recreate that adjustment on the new one and it will be very close.

I am positive that I could have a decently successful channel if I would have just started over and focused more on one thing instead of a random catch all, and of course actually devoted some time. I am far too busy though (in my mind anyways lol), and when I am not, I value my down time to be stress free especially with my job of 25 plus years now drives me insane at times. Like we've chatted before, doing it just for fun is what makes it fun. Doing it as another job, not so much. We already have a small business outside of our two careers that takes up a bunch of time. The paint code is LN on the door sticker. When searched not a lot comes up for it and I don't think Ford ever used the color on non police vehicles. I think there were 3 departments across the country that used this color SPD and Houston plus another on the east coast IIRC.
