They are trying to sell those watch gaskets individually on e Bay. I got a pack like you suggested. Probably never use them. Anyway the old gasket looked too stretched to use but again as you suggest it fit into the watch itself. Helpful. Thanks.

Thanks for this. It did not work for me with ordinary O-rings on the Seiko 8223 I was trying to fix. There are three flanges and the ring kept rolling off and taking a short cut between the flanges. The manufacturer's replacement is square section and does not roll. Even then it is hard to get it to stay put. It needs to be pressed down on each side of the flanges on the case back.

Hi, i have a blancpain villeret 40mm watch in stainless steel 2 years old watch and i noticed that it is stiff when i try to wind it. It has 72 hours power reserve. I have to pull out the crown in order for it to be buttery smooth when i wind it. It keeps excellent time BUT it is just stiff if i dont pull out the crown. When I pull it out, it is sooo smooth. Any idea on what could it be? I dont have warranty.

Wouldn't you place the seal in the case crevise instead of the case back and just use silicone wipes to moisturiser the seal.? I would

Does the watch lid close if the gasket is broken and I don’t have more. Can I still close the lid with this machine. Please help someone
