Hi Nick. Few years ago, may be 4 or 5, i couldn't effort to buy Adobe plan, so yes, i learn combo Gimp 2 and Inkscape from your channel to find job. I got my first job, in that time no one know wtf is Gimp and they only accept PTS user, luckily i met a guy he said that "use what you want and just complete your works". That's how i made my first income. Thank you so much, hope you always be well, thank again for helping people out there

We as a society need to use absolutely every option available that is not part of a subscription service. Not everything needs to be a free alternative, but it needs to be an owned alternative. Awesome video as usual; I'd like to clarify a couple points, specially for less experienced graphic professionals. 1- Inkscape unstability is only present over latest Windows and maybe MacOS, but in both cases there are (certainly techie and tricky-ish) workarounds. In windows, it has to do with swap space and memory management. Over Linux, I've had only two Inkscape crashes over the last year, and in both cases no data or work was lost, for Inkscape can make emergency saves. 2- Inkscape actually does work with CMYK color profiles, it's necessary to attach the corresponding ICC profile to the job. Then you can use the ExportCMYKPDF extension to do what it's name says. So it's not entirely true that Inkscape lacks that capability.

I am trying to develop my own websites, and I am going to put in the time to learn CSS, but I would rather find talented people to do my logo, branding etc, - I know that Figma can export designs as html and css, so thats a good starting point for me. I was looking on dribbble, but was wondering if you had any recommendations on where to find people to help. Being self-funded - costs are limited, and I would ideally like to do things in an Agile way - ie - evolve the design over time - since I will constantly be adding new pages as time goes on.
