What do i do if the two screws on each side of the steering wheel are stripped?

+Mike Mcbee You can try a stripped screw extractor/repair kit, carefully hammering a similar fitting screw to get a good bite, or even putting a rubber band between the screw and the tip of the screwdriver to see if the band can fill in the extra area, then seeing if you can replace the screws with slightly larger ones

+holybritches Thanks for checking us out! You should not need to reset anything as long as the airbag was not deployed. If the airbag was deployed then it would require a reset.

Hi, I wanted to change my steering wheel but in the end I did not change it. I disconnected the battery waited 30 minutes then disconnected the yellow cable and the claxon one too. After it, I took out the airbag system. To reinstall the same airbag I reconnected the yellow wire and also the claxon, but I am afraid of connecting the battery again. Is it possible that the airbag could explote after connecting the battery? Or turning on the engine?

Not unless you do something wrong like shorten out a wire within the airbag module.
