Thanks for the vid, useful and well made. Good tips on the mounting part. Actually would've been even more useful if everything hadn't lined up quite so easily, like so many old rads needing replacing. Lol Need to find one on how to deal with the more troublesome old imperial sized ones.

I just watched one where the guy said replace radiator with one that's a bit smaller rather than bigger, so that within the existing pipework you then get one of these extenders that plugs in next to the valves and makes up the difference in size. That's on kzbin.info/www/bejne/oX6vpIZ3bddja68 and the extender is at 4.00. Hope that is useful.

To get rid of any water that’s running through your heating pipes.

To let air out of the radiator. If you have air in the system you will get lower performance and noise.
