We just picked up this 1999 Yamaha Wolverine 350cc 4x4 ATV for $800. It had an unidentified noise in the bottom end or rear differential that the previous owner was destined to be an expensive fix. But here is how to fix a nasty growling grinding noise on your Yamaha ATV (Big Bear, Kodiak, Wolverine)
In this video, we take apart disassemble the rear axle, rear disk brake, and rear differential and replace the left wheel bearing in the diff housing as well as the right rear bearing in the disk brake housing of the rear swingarm. It was an easy job and only took about $100 in parts to complete.
Now we need to replace the top head gasket - Stay Tuned!
