Good video- thanks--- quick comment though.... you have a lot more faith in that tiny 2-3 sq. inches of bottle jack head than I could!! question: are there any torque requirements when tightening the bolts back up?

😂 Good eye, thanks for noticing that! You have made me laugh so hard!! Really should have got something else like stacked wood or even a spare tire. No concrete blocks - manual says no blocks!! Manual reads: 450 ft-lbs / see below IMPORTANT: Examine blade bolts (#1) and flat washers (#2) for excessive wear and replace if worn. 8. Insert blade bolt (#1) through blade (#6), dish pan (#4), and flat washer (#2). Secure blade with a new locknut (#3) and torque to 450 ft-lbs. 9. Replace access cover (#5). 10. If replacing dishpan (#4), nut (#7) on gearbox output shaft should be torqued to 450 ft-lbs. minimum and secured with cotter pin (#8) with both legs bent opposite directions around the nut. I tightened the bolts dawg tight! Hadn’t had a problem yet.

@@TheRamosFamilyFarm Holy Cow!! 450 ft. lbs. !!??? that is one hell of a lot of torque.... The only torque wrench I can find that will even measure that much torque costs almost $700--- Thanks for the the info--- much appreciated

@@samuelfreeman2181, You are welcome! The leverage I got with that pipe and huge wrench I used was plenty. If a bolt can be broken, believe me I’d break it. You can also use an air or electric impact driver. Let me know how it goes. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.

Kevin Gittemeier, Thanks man! I got a local design company called PTS to redraw it from a sign I saw. I am going to order some shirts and hats from them. But I am not 100% sure about it. I’d like to get some feedback from viewers to see what they think. Also getting some more designs drawn up.
