I thought i could do mine after work today.. I got the wheel off and thought, nope. I see that was a wise decision now haha. I think ill go get bearings and new grease while im at it. Cheers.

how does the pad actually fasten into the caliper, and how did you remove them?

Hi John, the pads are held in by the metal retaining brackets that hold onto the two nubs at each end. We forgot to mention in the video about this, as well as needing to compress the two pistons so the new pads will fit. It's all pretty much the same on most cars, so most tutorials for changing your pads should apply to this.

got to the seperating from the hub part and i cant get the old rotor apart after some agressive whacking with a punch and hammer
