Very helpful. Removing the diagnostic pack by simply unscrewing worked best. This was the first video I found for replacing this bulb, and the only one I needed. $15 bulb and 10 minutes of my time. Easy!

DON'T touch the Bulb (Glas) with fingers or other parts of the skin. The skin is (natural) greasy, this will kill the Glas from the Bulb if it gets hot!

Yes,and best way to clean the grease is with alcohol swab.

I went to the auto parts store and got my bulbs, same as the ones in here. I took the old ones out and they didn't match. The computer said they should and everything. Come to find out mine was built with the 2012 left over headlights.....smh

DO NOT. I repeat DO NOT TOUCH THE (GLASS PART) BULB or YOU WILL be replacing it SOON. The oil on your skin will RUIN the bulb. Lightbulbs 101.

Looks easy but my 2019 Santa Fe ( AU) as a different twist configuration that is quite tight to turn. Also my hand is too big to get into that space to turn the globe holder.

Nice video, thanks. Is there more to an LED headlight conversion on the 2018 than the bulb itself? A parts person told me on my older 4Runner that I had to get another part in addition to the bulb. Maybe they’ve included that in the newer bulbs. I don’t want to risk any warranty issues since mine is a CPO with very low miles. Thanks.

There will be no warranty issues, you might need a can bus module depending on if the bulb has one built in, if you didn't install one the car will constantly say the headlights are burnt out but they would still function

I have a Santa Fe but they have H7 but I'm thinking of doing a type of conversion to one of those lamps like H8-H11 oh also for a 9006 oh 9005 but Noce if it fits because I haven't tried it it has that type of fit the bulb has to rotate it to be able to take it out the same as in the video I want to do the conversion because I want to put it in led because in my country halogen is not of very good power let's say❤ thanks

One caution. Wear latex gloves to keep your fingerprints off the replacement bulb. Dirt, grease, moisture, Etc. will greatly shorten the life of your replacement bulb.

Seems weird, because another channel had a DS3/silver box holding the HID bulb, so, I'm confused. He also needed to remove 2 screws from that box .. which requires him to take the blasted headlight housing completely off the car ?!
