Thanks for the helpful video. For anyone wondering , the two screws holding the headlamp cluster are Torx T30 and if you have an H7 bulb then there a two T20 screws by the bulb which need to be removed.

Perfect video, without it would be very hard too do, separating the collar would have been guess work, thanks a bunch. Ten mins per side with video :) I used winpower D1s bulbs from Amazon, 19.99 a pair and bright replacement for the 8 year old osrams that were standard fit.

just asking halfords have sold ne two replacement bulbs and they do not have the base unit just bulbs are they ok and do they fit the base fitment thanks

Did you disconnect the battery? Lot of amps through there so just wondering is it safe just to unplug with battery connected

It is not necessary to disconnect battery. Just disconnect electrical connector on the lamp. Good luck. Time in video 00:54 sec.

Dan Stokes - Please apply some basic logic. Car off, light switch off, relays off... How would energy pass from the battery to the connector being worked?! Although theology might be a curious subject, I assure you. That would be nothing short of a miracle! LOL 😂

Yes sometimes the simplest of tasks can be made RIDICULOUSLY complicated by the manufacturer (albeit to make us more inclined to take it to the main dealership to have it changed)

Always replace in pairs, they are very cheap now unless you want silly price ones.

Hi, I dont know details about your Ford Mondeo, but usually if you wanna change some lightbulb, it has to be same type/lamp cap. If is there H7 you should replace it by H7 with maybe better quality of lights or with more power of light.
