Here is how to replace the Low Beam Bulb on a 08-14 Chevrolet Traverse with out removing the headlight. This will also work on the GMC Acadia, Buick Enclave & Saturn Outlook.

Very good method and presentation of same. Thank you for that. I would like to add one thing for others doing this for the first time. I had both low beams to replace. Using this method, the first one took almost half an hour while the other only took me 5 minutes, literally 5 minutes. This is because, on the first one, I glossed by Fentertainment's recommendation to use your sense of feel for you eyes. So, BEFORE removing the big cap thingy and BEFORE taking the bulb out of the reflection chamber thingy and BEFORE unplugging the bulb,,, take a good "look" at it with you fingers. Visualize it. Remember how it looks in you mind. It will save some time as well as a few cuss words when replacing these items.

GREAT video, thanks for posting. Both headlights went out within a few days on my 2013 Traverse and this was a lifesaver... first time I've ever actually replaced both headlights at once (as they always recommend)! First side took me about 10 minutes, as I figured out the orientation of the rear light cover, bulb in housing, and needing to shine a flashlight into the opening to figure out the small connector tab I had to press to remove the burnt bulb from the harness. Second side took me about 4 minutes, and I was able to do it "blind" by just feeling inside the wheelwell. Beautiful! My screws needed a T15 star bit, not sure if all years/models are the same.

Nailed it! Thank you for this video! I would add these tips: 1. Make sure the old rubber gasket comes out with the old bulb. 2. When putting new bulb in, place connector at 10:00 position and turn to 12.

On the 2014 Traverse, the connectors point down. Put it at 4 and turn it to 6.

Best video, I have a 2013 and the dealer wanted to charge $168, to replace 1 light. I followed ur instructions and did in bout 30 minutes. The only reason it took 30 minutes is because this was my first time and 1 of the bulbs was a little harder to take out. I checked other how to do it videos and this was the easiest and fastest way.

I followed these instructions and it worked like a dream. Yay! My low beams work. But now my high beams will not work when I push The signal lever back to turn on high beams. They only work when I hold the signal lever forward towards the steering wheel.

Same thing for my nephew's '14 Altima. The videos online made you take the tire off and the wheel cover it took the guy 30 minutes for one. I just pushed the cover to the side and replaced both in 3 minutes.

I was just about set on going to the dealer until I watched your video. It took me about five minutes to replace the bulb on the right side of my 2011 Traverse. I got hung up when I realized that the rubber gasket around the bulb itself didn't come out with the old bulb. I couldn't twist the new one in until I removed it. It then took me about 60 seconds to replace the other bulb on the other side. I figured if one bulb went out, I'd just replace both. TIP: go ahead and plug the bulb in the connector before you twist it in place. The opening is a little snug to plug it in after you twist it in.

Good idea to access the low beam bulb but in my 2009 Chevy traverse does not have the same clips. There are two on each side of the bulb connection

I was doing fine until I tried to remove my bulb. Had trouble trying to release the bulb from its harness. Had to get my neighbor to help me. Any secrets to releasing the bulb would be appreciated
